Alejandro González, known as Chef Alejo, was born in Cali, Colombia. From an early age, he was surrounded by the culinary world. His mother is a cooking instructor, and his stepfather also taught him the first secrets of the trade. For him, cooking was never a career choice he discovered later in life; it was a language he learned to speak from childhood, within the comfort of his own home.
His professional journey eventually led him to move to Peru, where his passion for cooking remained present during some of the most important stages of his life. However, it was not until he arrived in the United States that he was finally able to fully pursue his calling and establish himself professionally as a chef. In the United States, Alejo developed a comprehensive culinary education.
He studied Professional Culinary Arts at APAC New York, trained as a Chef Manager at FIOG, completed a Pastry Master Class at Magic Bakery New York, and further expanded his education with a Sports Nutrition course through Scoolinary.
This combination of studies reflects his commitment not only to culinary technique, but also to the love and passion he brings to every event and every preparation, as well as to understanding the science behind healthy and balanced nutrition.
Over time, Chef Alejo decided to pursue his own path as a private chef and caterer. This year, he formally established his company, Chef Alejo Signature Events, bringing together years of culinary education, professional experience, dedication, and passion into a project of his own.
Today, Chef Alejo continues to lead his catering and private events company, bringing to every event the same excellence, discipline, and passion that he has cultivated throughout his professional journey.
